Free: A free account let’s you rank sites to build your dashboard of the best. Sign up here.
Organized: Instead of page after page of links, sites are color-coded and grouped like a shopping mall.
Flexible: Search by product (Shoes), brand (Nike), team (Yankees), designer (Dolce & Gabbana) or keywords (birthday).

We just added code to detect the iPad. We don’t have access to one yet, but if anyone would like to try it, you should see a site with 4 rows and 3 columns that fits nicely in the ipad’s display, without scrolling. On a regular device, the site has 5 rows. Other options to follow.

So, it’s time to do a little shopping on the internet. There’s so much choice, where do you start? Well, start with SeeSpend and cut through the clutter. Here are some tips to help you out.

It’s all about you:

Open a free account to save ratings, create custom malls and save time.

Save Time:

Skip the millions of search results and key in on the best places to shop for a new LCD tv.

Save Money:

Click on the red tag to jump right to a website’s sales and clearance items. You can also filter the mall to only show websites with sales or outlets.

Give Better Gifts:

Combine the search and filter options for better focus. Your nephew is into snowboarding and you don’t know what to get him this birthday? Search for “snowboard” and filter on gift card for the perfect present.

Be A Shopping Maven:

Use the icons at the foot of the mall to email, tweet or Facebook what you’ve found with your friends – like all the shoe sites with outlets.

Do Some Research:

Use the kiosk icons (just above the mall) to research your purchase with Wikipedia, Google News, Consumer Reports and others. They are automatically linked to your search terms, so a Valentines mall will also take you to Wikipedia, Google News or 1-800 Flowers.

Shopping on a budget? Some sites seem to hide their clearances pages, but SeeSpend.com found them. Just select the Sale/Outlet filter in ‘Narrow your search’ and see only the stores that offer this shopping option. Click on a site’s red tag and go straight to the savings.

Not sure what gift to give? Then let them get what they want. Select the Gift Card filter in ‘Narrow your search’ and see only the stores that offer this shopping option. Combined with a search like “football” or “art” and your gift card shows you were thinking of them.
